Somebody on Twitter quickly brought up MILF Island, the mythical Bravo actuality line that was featured in the subsequent time of 30 Rock, when TLC announced that they would be producing a show called MILF Manor. However, the show's advertisements for a spin did promise to be interesting. They tried to keep it underground, they didn't even send detractors any supervisors. Perhaps TLC may have made fun of it. How To Hook Up With A Milf

The Gist: Eight females, all in their 40s and 50s and individual, trek into the palace wearing their nicest products. They have all had long-term relationships and marriages, and all have at least some adult children. This really say that Soyoung, April J, April W, Charlene, Shannon, Pola, Kelle and Stefany have thousands of living practice. They're all amazed that, despite the fact that they're told that they're going on a dating demonstrate where they're supposed to hook up with sizzling younger people, all they're meeting are the other females.

They receive scriptures telling them it's time to join the men they're going to meeting from particular devices. A split is removed and- evils! - they learn that the guys are the solid individuals' older children.

There are the discomforts you'd expect to experience when the men and the women mix and mingle, with the mothers being harsh toward the women their sons are hooking up with and the sons just generally being icked out by the sight of their mothers making out with strange guys.

What TV shows will you remember? MILF Manor is Love For The Ages, but a whole lot smarmier.

Our opinion is that MILF Manor is only partially redeeming because you have to admire the lies and manipulation the producers used to bring these mother-son pairs to Mexico to perform a dating show ( the sons being the ones who aren't their sons, of course ) without the mothers or the sons becoming aware that the moms will be dating the sons ( which are already icky enough ). Listen, the sons are young and horny and were pretty gullible. But the moms? With all that life experience? When they learned that they would be bringing their sons to Mexico with them, some yellow flags must have appeared in their heads.

Anyway, as far as the show is concerned, the ick factor is pretty high here, mainly for the all the the factors stated above. We believe the producers were thinking that this fusion of parental protection, seeing mothers see their sons make out with other women, and the notion that these middle-aged singletons are DTF would spark conversations unheard of on reality TV.

But what actually ends up happening is that most of the contestants, both the women and men, are pretty boring. However, for the most part, this group on both sides of the ledger haven't really given the show much personality, at least in the first episode. One or two of the women, like Pola and Kelle, really seem like they're open to the possibilities and Kelle seems like the show's designated shit-stirrer.

So that leads us to the ick factor. How much of that are viewers willing to accept? We hear the word" cockblocking" a lot in the first episode, and to hear a son is c-blocking his mom and vice versa is the highest level of cringe. We're betting not much, given just how gross we felt after the first episode. When Kelle brings her first targeted guy into her room and her son is right there, for example, we don't like the discomfort we experience. We can't imagine watching this show for how many episodes it continues to air without getting too slimy.

Sex and Skin: Right now, there's just a lot of making out. Any sexual activity between contestants will likely be more implied than anything else because it's a TLC series.

Parting Shot: Whether or not Pola approves, Kelle says," I like to win," in a talking head interview.

Sleeper Star: We'll pick Charlene because she's from New Jersey. Additionally, it appears that she is the only woman in her field who doesn't work as a dancer or fitness instructor.

Most Pilot-y Line: You mean more Pilot-y than the men being the sons of the women?

Our Call: SKIP IT. MILF Manor is at its worst, and the cast's even remotely interesting personalities don't help to balance out the cringe factor.
